Manchester United have reportedly made contact with Inter Milan to discuss a potential deal for Milan Skriniar during this summer’s transfer window.
The Red Devils are allegedly in the market for a new central defender and have recently been credited with an interest in RB Leipzig‘s Dayot Upamecano.
However, German journalist Christian Falk claimed on Wednesday morning that the Red Devils were not in for the Frenchman, who has a contract with his current club until June 2023.
According to FCInterNews, United have enquired over the availability of Skriniar amid suggestions that the 25-year-old could be on the move before the transfer deadline.
Tottenham Hotspur have also been credited with an interest, while Manchester City were believed to be keen on a deal for the Slovakia international last summer before ultimately being priced out of a move.
Skriniar fell down the pecking order at San Siro in the latter stages of last season and could allegedly be available for £50m during this summer’s transfer window.
